To begin, as a parent and teacher, my focus as a school board member is to bring more accountability to schools. Throughout my years in education, I have seen how student behavior has gotten out of control and how many students are left behind.

Updates from the Trail
With thirteen years in education, I have seen how education has changed. Previously, students had a clear expectation on classroom behaviors and parents were very active in the school community. As a board member I am going to encourage parent and family participation in the school environment. As a parent of children attending the district and a previous teacher for the district I have a unique perspective. I've worked in the classroom and have seen the effects of neglecting student behaviors. I'm an experienced educator who wants to help the district improve. Lets get involved!!
